Who's behind Sherman?

Yvonne van Halderen a Certified Dental Assistant in Vancouver, BC recently wrote and published her first children's storybook entitled "Sherman the Sugar Bug". Her many years of experience working with children led to the development of this cute little character.

In the story a young boy named Zachary inadvertently eats Sherman, a sneaky little fella, who in turn mistakenly damages a tooth in his quest for his sugary snack. Zachary now has to visit the dentist who'll remove Sherman. The story walks the children through the process of chasing Sherman out and repairing the damaged tooth with a white filling. The story then follows Sherman back to the candy store where the process begins all over again. This fun imaginative story helps educate and distract the pediatric patient while the dental team restores the unhealthy teeth.

Yvonne's introductory line includes the "Sherman the Sugar Bug" storybook, stickers, "Be A Shermanator... Brush out Sherman" tote bags and a newly released CD containing two Sherman songs and the Sherman the Sugar Bug story.
